Talks on Tap was created by Nicole Bonnah as a branch to the newly launched Tap In Think Tank in Beijing. lt is inspired by the "Lectures on Tap" series held in New York city, created by husband and wife duo, Ty and Felecia Freely.

Talks on Tap is a unique event series that brings thought provoking discussions to the casual setting of bars in Beijing.

Talks on Tap starts with about 20 minutes of getting checked in and getting snacks and drinks. Then there's a fun and reflective open from host, Nicole Bonnah. Come chatty. After that, the lecture speaker of the night will take the stage for about 30-40 minutes. We end with Q&A.

Talks on Tap events take place in various bars in Beijing City. You can see the district where an event will be located by looking at the event details on this page or in our Talks on Tap WeChat Group. The exact address is given in the confirmation email you receive after you get tickets.

Tickets can be purchased on our website or in our Talks on Tap WeChat group. Proceeds are invested back into Tap In initiatives for our Beijing community.

Yes. We don't sell tickets at the door and we have a limited amount of seating in order to keep an intimate vibe. You can check the upcoming event schedule here on our website or in the Talks on Tap WeChat group and register to secure your spot. Tickets are available on a first-come first-served basis.
